Marysville Municipal Court

During the week of March 27- March 31 both courtrooms at the Municipal Court will be remodeled. All in-custody matters will be heard during the week in the following places.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday- Snohomish County in-custody matters will be heard via video at Edmonds Municipal Court.
Friday- Snohomish County in-custody matters will be heard via video at Monroe Municipal Court.

All Marysville in-custody matters will be heard at the Marysville Jail.    To view the calendars the public will need to check in at the front desk at the Police Department.

The Marysville Municipal Court is a court of limited jurisdiction. The Municipal Court Judges have jurisdiction to preside over traffic infractions, misdemeanors, gross misdemeanors and code violations for the cities of Marysville, Arlington and Lake Stevens.

The Municipal Court does not hear civil cases, small claims cases or name changes. Information for those cases can be located on the Snohomish County District Court website.

Municipal Court Judge

Municipal Court Judges are elected to serve a term of four years. Judge Fred Gillings and Judge Lorrie Towers currently serve in the capacity of Municipal Court Judge.
