Donna Wright

Background

The year 2002 marked the return of former City Council member Donna Wright, who originally was appointed to the Council (1990-1991) and then elected to two four-year terms (1992-1999). Wright is a former Mayor Pro Tem, Planning Commissioner and Past President of the Snohomish County Association of Cities and Towns. She was instrumental in the founding of the Marysville University civics learning program.

At the national level, she represents the City on the National League of Cities Finance, Administration and Intergovernmental Relations Committee, and Small Cities Council. Wright received her Advanced Municipal Leadership Certification from the Association of Washington Cities in 2011
