Lakewood Neighborhood Master Plan

The Lakewood Neighborhood Master Plan provides long-range guidelines for land use, building and parking placement on a site, architectural design, open space, landscaping, stormwater drainage, signage/way-finding, pedestrian circulation and utilities.

The Master Plan also focuses on transportation planning and traffic mitigation strategies to enable additional development within an already congested neighborhood and promote safe walking and bicycling.

On March 27, 2017, City Council Approved the Lakewood Neighborhood Master plan with the adoption of Ordinance 3053.

Comprehensive Plan and Development Regulations Amendment

Addendum No. 24 to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), dated January 13, 2005, and Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Marysville Comprehensive Plan, dated April 2005, has been prepared by the Marysville Community Development Department.  This addendum provides additional environmental information and analysis relating to the NON-PROJECT ACTION Master Plan for Planning Area No. 11 Lakewood Neighborhood within the City of Marysville as an amendment to the 2015 Marysville Comprehensive Plan, adopting the Lakewood Neighborhood Master Plan.
This addendum adds further information to the analysis contained in the DEIS and FEIS.  The Lakewood Neighborhood Master Plan guides physical development over the next 20-years and focuses on the infrastructure and urban design aspects of the neighborhood.  The City is also proposing adoption of design regulations concurrently with adoption of the LNMP as an amendment to MMC Title 22 Unified Development Code.  The Lakewood Neighborhood Master Plan does not include changes in land use or zoning.
