  4. Classic Movies at the Opera House - The Pink Panther

    The first in a long series of detective comedies, the original Pink Panther stars Peter Sellers as bumbling French Inspector Jacques Clouseau, the mishap-prone snoop trying to catch the suave jewel thief known as "The Phantom". Directed by Blake Edwards and featuring Hollywood legends David Niven and Robert Wagner, it also includes the award-winning soundtrack from Henry Mancini. Classic Movies return to the Historic Marysville Opera House on the fourth Monday of each month. From musicals to comedies, thrillers to love stories, the Opera House is the perfect venue to watch the timeless classics. Popcorn and refreshments will be available for purchase.

  5. Opera House Speaker Series - Classic Hikes of Washington

    Tonight's featured speaker is Craig Romano, an award-winning guidebook author, outdoors writer and photographer, and Northwest trails and hiking expert. Craig hikes, runs, paddles and bikes and has written 12 books and co-authored an additional 5 others including 100 Classic Hikes Washington, Winter Hikes of Western Washington and Day Hiking North Cascades. He is currently working on several new titles in Mountaineers Books Urban Trails series. Each month, on the fourth Tuesday, the Marysville Opera House will host an outdoor adventure speaker. Local authors and outdoor enthusiasts will share their adventures and expertise on topics including hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, climbing, trekking, photography, birding and more. Each presentation will finish up with a Q & A period and/or book sales and signing. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
